Betty shows her pottery-work for the “I made this” campaign.
We’ve loved the response to “Oscar’s Project“. One theme we keep hearing is how empowering it is for kids (and people in general) to make things, and see others make things. We agree! And we want to celebrate it! We want to see your little makers in the act. Snap a quick pic or video with your child showing off his or her project and saying “I made this!”. We’ll compile the entries into a sort of Olive Us short video–with lots of kids showing off things they’ve made. We’re already doing flips we’re so excited to see what your hands have put together. We’d love to include you! Email entries to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to get featured!
To enter: Take a picture or video of your child showing off his or her project. If you make a video, your child should say: “I made this.” –and that’s all. Though you can show what it is, or how it works in the video, please don’t describe what it is, or how it works. (Watch the video with Oscar for an example.)
If you take a picture, hold a sign that says “I made this” while also showing your item (see the picture of Betty for an example).
And that’s it! We would love to see what you have made! We think this video will be really inspiring for lots of people, and we would love to include you in it!
