Hooray! Hooray! It’s Here! It’s Here! We’re thrilled to be releasing To the Sea! today.
The last episode we released was Saying Goodbye, And, as the name suggests, it was a farewell to a life in France; a life that launched Olive Us a few years ago. To the Sea! is taking our first steps–a bit shaky sometimes–into a new life. If life is a series of Hellos and Goodbyes, this is Hello. We love this episode, and hope you will too. Watch To the Sea! now!
Thank you for joining us for this new chapter! This is also the first episode filmed by Life in Digital. We met Gusto when we moved to Oakland, and he was so excited to be a part of the show, and to give it his own signature as well. We have loved working with him, and can’t wait for you to see what we’ve created together!

the reason I followed your family was because I wanted to live the dream of moving to France, and having that chance was so fun, I followed you there and back
now that you’re back, I wonder if your children miss the French life as much as I do

Thanks for the comment, Joy! For sure we miss life in France. But we also love life where we are. I think we work to carry over what we can from where we've been (memories, understanding, personality, etc.) and bring that to where we are.
We can't deny that life was sweet in Normandy. But we intend to "suck the marrow out" of life here as well. And we've loved it so far...

Yay! Olive Us is back! Loved this episode. About midway through my three year old said “this is the best one” and my five year old said, “where’s June?” We love your show! Thanks so much for making it.

So great to read this comment, Alysa! Thank you for your encouraging words!
On June: Unfortunately, June was too young to go on the boat with us.

So glad to see you all in such an incredible city. If I would’ve had to handpick a place for y’all following France, SF would’ve been it. I hope the transition continues smoothly, and we look forward to seeing more of your sweet family. Everyone has grown up so much since the garden episode.

Hooray for Oliveus! Such a wonderful adventure “To the Sea1” Did anyone have
a life-jacket on? Was it cold? Were Ben and Gabby on the boat? Felt I was on the boat with you and that was FANTASTIC!

Hi Grandma! It was cold in the morning, but it got quite warm by the afternoon. Ben and Uncle Jared (and cameraman Gusto) were on the boat, but Mom was with June. Thanks so much! So glad you liked it!

What a wonderful idea. You can see the excitement in their eyes. We love to fish
as a family so this was really fun to see. Enjoy your new home!
